Type in the person's name online in Google and see what the results are. In this case, "Joe Iannelli Kennesaw" or "Joe Iannelli hardwood" or similar phrases.

Not only that, the job might not be done correctly, and in the end, it might cost a lot of money to fix it. Be wary of hiring an unlicensed contractor. And be safe.

Remember, Joe Iannelli is licensed, bonded, and insured. He's also a member in good standing with the BBB.

7. DO NOT pay the full amount until the job is complete. Although the contractor is reputable, and has no complaints, he/she may just be having a bad day one particular day and you find yourself out of money with no home repairs completed.

If the contractor insists on full payment up front, consider another contractor.
